Greetings visitors.  My name is Michelle Kirk and this is my online portfolio of works of art I have created.  Please take some time to look around and feel free to contact me if you have any questions with regards to my artwork.  I am looking forward to adding more works of art as I create them and discuss the creativity and inspiration behind my work.

Artist Statement

My interests vary with regards to art and creating it.  I have experience working with a variety of materials and studying a variety of disciplines from painting to ceramics to photography to sculpture.  I am working on developing new ways to express my creativity through art by incorporating my personal style into applications for both 2-D and 3-D.  I am planning to utilize my extensive computer knowledge to assist in the development of learning tools applicable to art and the online learning community.  My first app is now available in the iTunes™ store.

Artist Profile

I was born and raised in Southern California and began creating works of art at an early age.  My creativity continued to blossom through my high school studies with classes in ceramics, crafts and photography.  Upon entering college, my pursuit of an academic education for employment purposes took me in a more graphic design direction, along with fashion design and painting.  After some employment in web design and development, I once again began taking classes with a more fine art approach that included ceramics and sculpture.  One of my projects was chosen to be displayed in the student art show.  I am currently working on my graduate studies in the area of Education Technology and will be looking to become both an online and local instructor in my community.  My future plans include opening my own studio and gallery where I can sell my works of art to the public and instruct others with online art and craft courses.
